Do you know that crazy people here are actually planning a parade for the BROWNS if they go 0-16!!! I actually might go!!!
http://fox8.com/2016/12/19/browns-perfect-season-parade-reaches-fundraising-goal/
If I were a Browns fan, I'd support a parade. No matter what caused their record, it takes guts to get out in front of a crowd every week and give it your all.

One way rides, I assume.
You do have to imagine, however, how much panic and fear an aerial attack on any populated area of the US would have caused. Sometimes, the uncertainty created is more powerful than the actual event.
Adds some context to modern nuclear subs equipped with cruise missiles, no?

Alpo:
Marshal Mo Hare has it right. See 18 USC Sec. 331:
"Whoever fraudulently alters, defaces, mutilates, impairs, diminishes, falsifies, scales, or lightens any of the coins coined at the mints of the United States, or any foreign coins which are by law made current or are in actual use or circulation as money within the United States; or
Whoever fraudulently possesses, passes, utters, publishes, or sells, or attempts to pass, utter, publish, or sell, or brings into the United States, any such coin, knowing the same to be altered, defaced, mutilated, impaired, diminished, falsified, scaled, or lightened—
Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five years, or both."
The crime requires a specific fraudulent intent, either in mutilating or passing defaced currency or coins. Basically, if you don't do it to cheat someone, you're OK.
And that's why the mint added the series of ridges ("reeding") around the perimeter of higher value coins - so ambitious thieves could not shave the edges and keep the shavings of gold or silver.

Folks, the server's security cert has expired, and we are working to get it updated. Apologies for the inconvenience, we'll have it resolved ASAP.
Thank you, James.

I hope all you fellers are enjoying your global warming. I've been cold all day and our high is only 61.
OBTW, I've never been hungry enough to eat SOS or Spam. My Dad loved both of them and neither Mom nor I could stand the sight or the smell of either. I sure do miss the ole feller though!
PF
You're kidding us, right?
"Only" 61??? We won't see 61 until next April, if we're lucky.
There's a school of thought that the climate change we appear to be experiencing is not truly "global warming"; it's worsening of the extremes - colder Winters and warmer Summers, not warmer all year. Not quite sure how Man could have made that happen....

It runs through all auto design companies, from the drivetrain through the interior.
I had a 2008 Dodge Caliber with a manual trannie. The other four versions of the Caoiber had auto trans. The manual was the only version w/o a tach. This means that Dodge designed and made a special gage cluster for the only version that would have used the tach.
On the otherside, I have owned seven Ford Rangers and appreciated the heater design. The air is heated by an electrical board with exposed resistors. There is no coolant involved. The hot air is available before the engine heats up.
Did anyone here ever change the top coolant tube on a Ford 390, the tube between the top of the thermostat and the radiator? New four-letter words are developed by what looks to be an easy task.
Tom:
Yes!!!
Dad had a '67 Galaxie 500 with the 390; that confounded short section of hose split, and there was simply no way to get a replacement on without removing the neck. Geez...that was 45 years ago, but I can still feel the frustration!!!

When I open the SASS website, it works just fine; when I click on "Forums", I get a warning from Norton that there is a problem with this site's security certificate, and recommending that I do not open the site.
Is there something happening here?

Denver took it in the slats today.
I usually prefer high scoring games; but there were some great defensive plays on both sides of this one. Denver does have some offensive line problems, apparently.
Hey, a win is a win....and I'll take it.
And Marshal...Brady is now 22-9 in play-off games - a more relevant stat given where we are in the season! There are a lot of players out there that have never been in a play-off game - let alone 31 of 'em!

Does OH still have a ban on "high capacity" mags?
Just askin'

No idea; I'm in MA, and we do.

Yep. I stocked up on my snacks and am ready for tomorrows game.
This is a must win for my Packers if they are going to get into the playoffs although they won't be going to the Superbowl. The passing game should be interesting trying to throw and catch that rock solid football.
We have a cure for that.......

So, as a Bears fan, you get to freeze your rear off at the first two games, and then sit comfortably warm in your Barcolounger at home for the third game, watching two OTHER teams play for the Championship??

Is there such a thing as a "pre-ban" larger capacity magazine for 10/22s?
We have had a 10 round limit since 09/13/1994, so I would need to be able to prove that the magazine was manufactured before that date. Are Ruger BX-25s date marked?

What I want to know is what happened to the $6 Million she raised from the weak minded individuals who thought they were paying for a recount? I heard on the radio that she claims to have spent over $1 Million in a week and a half on "overhead"; that's a lot of floppy discs....

I finally decided that the game, as designed, doesn't fit my personality. You can change it, though. I've renamed mine "Let's Shoot Ralphie in the Eye"; the goal is to score as many hits on the kid as possible.

I get tired of this game pretty quick; anybody got any other (free) online shooting games they like????

Our 95# Lab was always a bed sleeper; started at the foot each night, but inevitably found him up between us in the morning. He's so arthritis-bound now that he can't jump up in the bed (or the Jeep). We miss him, even though he sleeps on the floor right next to us.
I've heard others say they would never let a dog in the bed, and some would not allow one in the house. To each his own, but I would not be without a dog in the house.
