    BS!  Get everyone you can find and swamp him with DEMANDS that he discuss and justify everything he wants done.  Then if he doesn't discuss it or doesn't answer the questions, or doesn't answer them satisfactorily recall him ASAP!

    used to work with some Aussies and they loved guns, just had a hard time owning them.  Also many were hidden and not turned in during the buyback.  

    "Punished" should be spelled "EXECUTED".

    Private Businesses and Signage (ORC 2923.126)

     

     

    Under ORC 2923.126, the owner or controller of private property may post a sign prohibiting firearms on the property. If someone knowingly violates that posted prohibition, the usual consequence is criminal trespass — a misdemeanor — if the person stays after being told to leave.

     

    Important: The trespass consequence requires that the sign be posted conspicuously and that the person knowingly violates it.

    Same in Arizona.  

     

    We have one restaurant that has a sign posted "If you are carrying a gun please conceal it.  A lot of our customers are tourists and don't know about guns and it scares them to see one in real life.  They may not ever come back.  Thanks for understanding. We appreciate the return business."

    I got a new one.  I went to a Christmas music festival tonight at a Mormon place, but with Lutheran Bell Choir, and several other performers of different denominations taking part.  Almost three hours of great music (except for a seven minute piano solo) and maybe a hundred spectators  I was amazed at the bell choir. Each player had three to six bells and got three or more sounds from each bell.

     

    But back to the point .  I sat on a bench with two women and a man to my right and a husband and wife to my left.  One of the women on my right was "traffic stopping beautiful" and didn't seem to be aware of that fact.  As we were leaving I got bold and asked the man with  her "Sir, by your leave.  May I speak to this lady?"

     

    He looked a bit startled, but stepped aside.  I shook her hand and said" Miss, you might take this as the babbling of an eighty four year old man, but I'm very sincere when I tell you that you are the prettiest woman I've seen in ages.  Merry Christmas" and I stepped aside.

     

    She walked out with the other woman, both of them smiling as the man reached out to shake my hand.   "Sir you have made my sister as happy as I've seen her in a few years.  Can I have your name?'  I told him my name is Tom and left.

     

    Most younger guys can't, won't, or don't do that and if they do, they are obviously on the make and looking for something.  I'm old and harmless, but sincere.

     

    I got all I wanted, a wonderful smile and a thank you.

     

    Try it.  You'll like it.  I'll do it again if I find someone who is worthy of it.

    I've outlived most of my  enemies, and way to hell and gone too many friends, and probably most of my relatives....but I haven't stayed in touch with any but a handful of them.

     

    None of my friends from high school are still alive, all of the girls I dated are gone,I don't know where any of my cousins are, most of the businesses I worked for are gone or run by whoever bought or inherited them, most of my hometown is now unrecognizable (and many of the places I lived later are gone or changed, too.).

     

    Think of the many nations that no longer exist, our enemies that we destroyed, and them helped rebuild are now our enemies or competitors, and a large percentage of the countries we save total destruction and now against us.

     

    Old brand names are unknown to all but a few of us left, products that we relied on are gone, and everything from foods, to languages, to machinery, to cultures, and so much more are all changing or disappearing daily.

    THIS IS NOT A GUN CONTROL ISSUE.  IT IS AN ACT OF RACIAL AND RELIGIOUS TERRORISM, PLAIN AND SIMPLE.

     

    JEWS ARE AGAIN BECOMING TARGETS ALL ACROSS THIS PLANET AND IT NEEDS TO BE STOPPED!

     

    It's happening in the good old U. S. of A, too.  All kinds of attacks go unreported from verbal insult and harassment to physical abuse and refusal of services ....and more.

    It's Official - Winter Is Here....

    I'm quite concerned about our weather here in Central Arizona.

     

    61 degrees at 4:00 Am, 71 now, and I don't own any snow tires anymore.  Got some real snow a few years back and ordered a snow shovel because no stores within 70 miles had any.  I got a call to pick it up a week later and it's been happily rusting away unused in the garage ever since.

     

    I do have proper winter wear left over from my past, all the way from lightweight coach's jackets to a pea coat.  Also a heavy wool capote, a lined elk hide fringed jacket with fringes, beads, conchos, and a pair of removable coyote tails for neck warmers (A lot of fun to wear to town.  People want to take my picture, especially when I wear my beaver fur trapper's cap with a couple of feathers), and a half dozen jackets of different thicknesses to fill in the gaps.  Throw in a bunch of scarves and neck warmers, several pairs   of gloves, ear muffs and at least three kinds of hand warmers and kidney belt warmers.   Add some sweaters and vests and before long you run out of closet space.

     

    I haven't seen a snow boot nor galosh in years, sold my skis in 1965 and my snow shoes four years later.  Don't even remember when I last had any ice skates

     

    I have a whole herd of hats from "cowboy" hats to watch caps, baseball caps, Irish 8 point newsboy caps, to Army and Marine  field covers,  and others.

     

    I live far enough north to avoid Arizona's infamous heat and south enough to get maybe three or four days in a whole year that are in the zero range.

    We think alike a lot (Scary, ain't it?)  I tend to be big tipper...if I get good service, and if it's friendly.  It paves the way to great service at the same place later on.  I NEVER leave any place without leaving at tip, though.  Two nickels or seven pennies, etc. isn't really a tip, it's a comment.  Learned that from Dad.

     

    Twice in my life I left before the food was served and only paid for the drinks.  I spent a considerable time on both occasions letting the manager (and anyone else who happened to listen) precisely. a bit loudly, and somewhat harshly exactly why I was doing that.

     

    One of them called the police so I waited in the front of his cafe and explained to the officer why I did what I did.  He told the manager that I had paid for what I got and since he never delivered anything else I owed nothing.

     

    A few months later the place closed up and went out of business.

     

    Oh my!  I lost no sleep over that.
