I have a Winchester 97 shotgun for sale, 12 gauge E series takedown, S/N 833265, forend and receiver SSN's match. 19" barrel, 12.25" length of pull with 1/2" Pachmayr recoil pad. Takedown adjustment on third notch. Slide lock and shell flag works correctly, extractors hold shells tightly with no "droop" once they clear the chamber, ejector works positively. Bolt has about 1/4" maximum deflection when action is open. Holds six rounds of Winchester 2.75" AA's and feed correctly from magazine. Cracks on lower right hand side of pistol grip just behind receiver, repaired. When action is locked, carrier cannot be moved up within receiver at all. Overall, action is very tight. $575 Price includes shipping my FFL to yours. Open to offers but not looking for trades. Please let me know if you have questions or need any other pictures.
