Curley Cole, SASS #56849 Posted December 14, 2015 Share Posted December 14, 2015 A friend of mine took me to one of the coolest Christmas parties I have ever been to. It was at their shop in Fullerton. Was near the RR traks. I forgot the name of the place but they build and race go karts, and do frame building and old auto restoring.At the shop it rambles around several buildings, and they have building mock ups and fully stocked with stuff of the era. the have a gas station, barber shop, soda shop and even a "ladies parlour". they had tables miles long with food, a hot gog guy beer and soda in bathtubs full of ice and wine on a table. had a small band playing, and a couple of barrels with fire,. spent part of the time talking with a ww2 vet about lots of things including the past wars. I can't think of when I have had more fun at a Christmas party, and thank the hosts and to my friends for dragging me along.
