Guest
Were looking for some really thick, (and yes that eliminates the the skinny US GI blankets) European surplus blankets. Were looking for a bulk lot of 10 to 12. We have 2 trunks full of Hudson Bay blankets but I took one horse camping once and when I brought it back it was gray. The wife is slowing selling off all our HB blankets to Capote makers and such. TIA, Duke
Virgil Ray Hality, SASS# 37355
closest* thing I have seen was "surplus" wool blankets that show up on the "Cheaper Than Dirt" web site from time to time. good luck.

Hangry Bob
Don;t buy those blankets from sportsmans guidde. My brother and I went halves on a dozen and lucky for me one of his friends wanted my half of the box. They were the thinnest blankets I have ever seen. Virgil Ray Hality, SASS# 37355
Probably why they are so "low-cost".
Guest Tennessee Stud, SASS# 43634 Life
I'm afraid of EU blankets... Long, long ago... believe I got the crabs off them covers. Dam Belgium doc-prescribed powder-stuff almost didn't get rid of 'em. ts
