Before anyone asks "why?" - I own 4 Detonics Combatmasters [no grip safety], and have 3 other .45's that had their grip safety pinned in the early 80's by Jim Clark in Shreveport, LA. I am VERY comfortable carrying cocked & locked with no grip safety. Please read the entire article, above, by Jeff Cooper, before you chastize me too severely.
