DIY Camo Dip Kit

Has anyone got their guns "camo dipped" before? If so, how much did you pay for a full size shotgun? Did it turn out well?

 

How about these DIY camo kits - http://www.camodipkit.com - any reviews on them? Looks like you can do 2-3 guns with one kit...

I just use Krylon. Pull a fern up from the yard to use as a stencil. You can wrap a mesh laundry bag around the gun for a snakeskin effect. No reason to be careful with it. Just keep adding colors until you are happy.

That's kinda neat. It's apparently akin to those polymer graphical vehicle wraps where a business can have their logo and company info on a van or truck without having to go to a paint shop. Wonder how durable it is?

 

My old Cherokee is starting to look a little rough. I like your idea Frank - those mesh bags would be perfect for making a digital camo pattern.

 

By the way, thanx again for the stock. The project is coming along. Slowly, but we're making progress.

Dun bout the same on several- Base color then some different leaves 'n twigs 'n such with a different color plus black 'n go crazy-
