Birdshot #3616 Regulator, Life
Ok, I got to rooting around on the internet a while back and ended up the very proud owner of a 1911 Colt manufactured in 1914. It is a great commercial model that shipped from Hartford to Colt's london Armoury in London, England. Due to the Neutrality Act, U.S. companies could not sell war goods to combatant nations. So, Colt sent commercial models to their store in London where English officers could purchase from a London Based store. The SN3 for my pistol is 140 from Winston Churchill's 1911. Anyway, I need an appropriate magazine. It must be two tone with a lanyard loop built into the base. If you have one that you might part with, let me know. Maybe we can work a deal for a trade or a cash buy. Thanks, Birdshot
Buffalo Nichols 5118 Life
You may have better luck on the one of the 2 1911 forums or the Colt forum. I see them for sale there occasionally. BN
