Missouiri Renegade
I'd really appreciate any help I can get here. I need to disassemble the magazine tube from the receiver for a Uberti 1873. I have the fore stock cap loose and the tube wiggles a bit, but I cannot get it to come free of the receiver. I'm trying to change the fore grip so need to get the tube off so I can remove the fore stock cap and retaining wedge. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Texas Red
Mizzou Renegade, Once you have the two screws on mag cap out...The mag keeper is held in place by a small pin which must me driven out before mag tube will be able to be moved and or removed..pin wedges mag tube to barrel and mag keeper.. As soon pin is removed then mag tube can move.. I've probally made that about as clear as mud.. Texas Red
