Rum River #36276 Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 I'm not looking for one of these, but happened to see one today. It's a nickel 7 1/2" .44-40. What I thought made it unique was an accompanying letter with Outdoor Life letterhead. (If I remember correctly it was dated 1956.) The firearm's owner at that time had inquired Outdoor Life magazine as to the revolver's value. The magazine had responded with a suggestion of a person who could help determine said value. The Outdoor Life person who had written the response and signed the letter? - Jack O'Connor. Price on the revolver at the show today was $7999. (I'm assuming this includes the letter too.)
