I like your wood mounting block idea. I have a MEC Jr. that is sitting on my bench; never used it as I have a MEC 650. But I've considered usin the Jr., but wasn't sure where I'd mount it. Thanks to you, I have an idea that just might work.

As a former resident of California (1945-2016), I can't believe what has happened to my second home state. I have family and extended family there and I suppose they will stay there forever because of family and responsibilities. I could never go back to live there; as they say " Nice place to visit, but not to live there." My wife's resting place is in SoCal; a locale she dearly loved and I'm afraid she wouldn't recognize the State it has become. I know she wouldn't like it; when we left California we knew we couldn't afford to return to our "home place" and relocated to an adjoining state. When my times comes I'll join her in that resting place, but it won't be the what I knew it once was.
I pray for my grandchildren and great grand children.

I'd blame it on the weather....their brains are water logged! I've visited all over Washington State, but no more. Sad, very sad.

You never cease to amaze me with your craftsmanship. That cart is very functional; and a work of art. I think I'd be afraid to use it, but i would want everyone to see it as a tribute to our early military. Great work.

I've had a stage DQ and a match DQ; I felt bad about both, but I want to "play by the rules and in the spirit of the game". Both instances were a learning experience for me and I try my level best to avoid those errors. In the match DQ, I stayed on site; embarrassed, but encouraged by other shooters, kinda' like family. Not my finest hour, but at 85, I'm still shooting.

I've been known to come up with some "unorthodox" shooting; as I read this "with pistols, starting and ending on P3 engage the five pistol targets with at least one round each". Being a two handed shooter, I would have shot [first pistol]: 3-1-2-4-3, [second pistol]: 3-4-5-2-3.
That's my interpretation of the instructions, feel free to correct me [I'm learning something new every day].
