Why can’t they be reload?I've been reloading .38, .357, .45 Colt cannelured cases, nickel and brass, on a regular basis over 40 years. I never once had a case failure attributable to a cannelure.

For what it's worth my order for 500, placed 14 December, shipped yesterday.

Re-loading manuals show a "Max. Case Length", and just below that it lists a "Case Trim Length" which is shorter. Example for .44-40 Winchester:
Max Case Length: 1.305"
Case Trim Length: 1.295"
Curious as to why two different case lengths listed.
I full-length re-size without expanding the case mouth and then trim my cases to the specified Case Trim Length for new and fired cases.
In this case, brass exceeding 1.305" should be trimmed to 1.295". Keeping brass segregated by lots will help with keeping track of how many times each has been fired. You'll have to decide for yourself whether one case out of 50 exceeding 1.305" merits trimming the whole lot or not. For .44-40 brass, ike the fellow above said, use a Lee Factory Crimp die and just never worry about it.

My 14 December order has not been shipped. I checked on it 1 February, got an answer same day. Basically, it was just wait out.

I would like to actually handle one. The CCH is a bit over powering and those grips are awful IMHO
Still good to see new products.
Best Wishes
I agree on both points. CCH is definitely a beautiful thing, but those are a bit much. Reminds me of tie dyed t-shirt. And those grips are, well, awful.

45 Colt with SPP

Aggravation for reloaders aside, clearly 45 Colt and ACP cases with SPP do work fine. You sure can't tell them apart when you shoot them.
