North Carolina: The Outdoor Heritage Act is Up for Final Senate Vote

On June 18, the North Carolina House of Representatives passed the final version of House Bill 640, the Outdoor Heritage Act, by an 88-26 vote. The bill now awaits a final vote by the North Carolina Senate and has been placed on tomorrows Senate calendar. Among other pro-hunting provisions, HB 640 would expand the opportunity to hunt with firearms on Sundays on private property as of October 1, 2015. It is critical that all pro-hunting North Carolinians contact their Senators and respectfully urge them to support the right of private property owners to allow hunting on Sundays during hunting season, if they so choose.

Please contact your state Senator and urge them to vote YES on House Bill 640.
