Dopebama Administration Placing Sanctions On Gun Owners

In a startling new discovery, revealing just how sneakily deceitful the current administration is, it appears as though sanctions have secretly been placed on American gun owners. As our Second Amendment is impeded upon on an almost daily basis, it seems as though the government is stooping to new lows in order to proceed with their unconstitutional agenda.

 

 

In an almost covert form, the Department of Justice (DOJ) has enacted what they are calling, “Operation Choke Point,” right under America’s nose. Effectively going around gun rights activists, under the veil of financial legislation, Holder and his goon squad passed a law making it even harder for those dealing with guns to effectively go about their business.

 

 

In a blatant anti-Second Amendment effort, the DOJ teamed up with the FDIC and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau in order to put a stop to those complicit in “high-risk activities.” Funnily enough, adding to their list of seemingly innocuous activities in which banks are urged to be wary of, and outright suggested they avoid, those selling firearms were sneakily slipped into the law.

 

 

The CEO of the Electronic Transactions Association, Jason Oxman, recently wrote on the matter saying, “Federal law enforcers are targeting merchant categories like payday lenders, ammunition and tobacco sales, and telemarketers – but not merely by pursuing those merchants directly.” Furthermore he mentioned, “Rather, Operation Choke Point is flooding payments companies that provide processing service to those industries with subpoenas, civil investigative demands, and other burdensome and costly legal demands.”

 

 

Effectively what the DOJ has done here is raised the cost of dealing with entities that would sufficiently fit within the list of those considered, “high-risk.” Basically deeming those companies, or individuals as toxic (and now costly), the picture starts to become a little clearer.

 

 

In an effort to put the hurt on the gun environment in any way possible, Obama’s administration is, in essence, trying to suffocate those who deal in guns financially. After all, if you can’t interact financially, then you really have no business at that point.

 

 

According to Oxman, banks will soon, “simply stop providing service to such merchants.” The worst part in all this is that, “it’s working – payments companies across the country are cutting off service to categories of merchants that – although providing a legal service – are creating the potential for significant financial and reputational harm as law enforcement publicizes its activities,” Oxman mentioned.

 

 

Those managing bitcoin services have already been reported to deny those working in gun sales because of Operation Choke Point. Is it really that big of a shock however that perhaps the most politicized Attorney General in America’s history has taken it upon himself to fight against guns?

 

 

Last I knew, he was supposed to be focused on matters of the law, not cultural issues. That being said, I think we can see how blind the justice is through the eyes of Mr. Holder.

 

 

One last thing really has my head spinning – the name “Operation Choke Point.” Now yes, this legislation is effectively choking gun owners financially, but anyone knows that this isn’t what a choke point is.

 

 

For those of you who do not know, it’s a strategic place in which the enemy is funneled with no way out and usually ends in the slaughter of whomever was forced into the choke point. Could this perhaps have some meaning regarding its futuristic intent? Now that the DOJ is funneling gun sellers in certain directions is there soon to be a slaughter?

 

 

Or is this just another instance demonstrating their severe incompetence while trying to be witty?
