Reporters and politicians

So many of them seem to be perplexed at Qaddafi's (or Saddam's, or Hitler's, or...) reluctance to simply step aside when the tide turns against them. They are baffled as to why people such as these would resist to the bitter end. Apparently they know nothing about human nature, AND the nature of evil, AND are oblivious to the past few thousand years of history.

These are the people who would presume to lead and inform the rest of us.
