New Sheriffs in Town! Tejas Caballeros The Former Construction Club! In the last six years, the Cabs and the landowners built 10 elaborate Covered Stages with Boardwalks, a City Hall, an Annex, a Buffalo Camp, Restrooms, Paved roads, a Berm, and a Long Range out to 466 yards. So much work that a common joke among us, was that we were a construction club with a shooting habit! Now Open! Tejas Caballeros The Shooting Club! Things have changed. We have a new Board with new officers, including: Kincade (1st VP) Pb Buffalo (2nd VP) Rogue Heeler (Asst Range Officer) Little George (Medical Officer) Heart Stopper (Scorekeeper) Black Jack Blake (Photographer) Doc Holloman (Wild Bunch Range Officer) Our new Board made changes to concentrate on shooting. We welcome fast shooters, as well as new shooters. Recent Improvements are: We replaced old target stands with new target stands bought from Two Spurs and Dodger Targets to reduce splatter; We moved targets closer; We replaced small targets with bigger targets; For those who want a challenge, we created a Sharpshooter category with separate targets; We created a Wild Bunch match; We improved Long Range with a new course of fire out to 466 yards from12 shooting tables; We have New Shooter Classes every 3rd & 5th Saturday, to bring new shooters into the sport; Members can practice being fast throughout the month; and Dry Camping and RV Camping is available. If you haven’t shot with the Cabs recently, give us a try. Things have changed! New Sheriffs are in town! BTW, the match on Saturday, September 16, is free! There's also a free lunch. Barb Steel Memorial Match September 16, 2023 Free! All Match Fees & Lunches paid for by friends of Barb Steele Where: Determination, Texas 8545 Ranch Road 1623 Blanco, TX 78606 Barb Steele, aka Barbara Nurick, passed away recently. The Cabs are holding a free match and lunch. Everyone is invited! Come shoot, with the Cabs to celebrate our sport and the sport she loved, regardless of whether you knew Barb or not. This is a celebration of our sport and the sport she loved. If possible, sign up at https://practiscore.com/clubs/tejas.caballeros. This will give us an idea of how many lunches we need.
