Howdy Shoot a renegade 45LC, have a leather wrap [ Mernickle ] on the stock, it's now a fairly regular thing to slip on my shoulder, tried different ways of getting it to stay put on my shoulder with no luck, it's a straight butt pad. Don't really want to change the pad, looking for any ideas that people may have ..thanks

I just stumbled upon a deal for a pair of shooter original 73 winchesters. One in 38-40 one on 44-40. Which would you shoot? I plan to shoot both but is there an advantage to either? They are coming with a couple hundred brass for each.
