The opening ceremony from the Roughshod Raiders' first annual match, The First Ride on January 28, 2017. I have to brag on Rooster Ray and Johnny Showchaps (plus their equine stars, Cherokee and Gunner) for their awesome entrance. Plus, Johnny's daughter Emily did a beautiful job on the national anthem.

I have ta say, I think my favorites have ta be the Coca-Cola 600 (Memorial Weekend), and the Bristol night race. Those little kids (children of drivers and crews) do a better job singing the National Anthem than 99% of the so-called "stars" that usually do it at sporting events. Oh, I know the kids aren't the greatest singers in the world, but I'd rather listen to them than any "star"....far less ego! I won't be watching the race (Donkeys game starts in 5 minutes) but I had to tune in for opening ceremonies. Too bad the NFL and some of the other leagues can't take a lesson from NASCAR.....
