The Tennessee State Championship, The Regulators Reckoning, will be in June this year instead of October due to The National Championship being on the weekend we used to be on. 12 Main Match Stages, Warm Up, Wild Bunch and Black Powder matches as well as Long Range and Speed Side Matches. I'll attach a schedule as soon as it is ready, application is on the State Match tab on our website. We will be adding Elder Statesman Gunfighter to our State Championship this year if we get enough interest. If you have already sent in your Registration and would like to change contact Papa Dave. Rumor is the Banquet will be at the Bell Buckle Cafe Banquet Hall again. Thursday will be "Are You Tough Enough To Wear Pink" day and we'll be collecting money all weekend for The American Society! I think there is a better than average chance that the Friday Night Dinner on the range and Side Match Awards will have some adult refreshment given out as Door Prizes. Hope to see everyone there! This year we're having a 4 stage Josie Wales side match on Thursday morning. Safety meeting starts at 8:30 am. We're also adding a Josie Wales category in the Main Match. We'll also have all the normal Speed Side Matches, Long Range and Cut The Rope. I also hear that Red Knee is coming from Oklahoma to whip Widder in the '97 Speed Match! Or get whipped by Widder, depending on who you listen to. Also this year we'll shoot 12 stages in the Main Match! If you haven't sent in your application don't wait, get it in soon and book your room as soon as possible rooms are getting scarce. http://www.wartraceregulators.com/StateMatch.aspx Don't forget "Are You Tough Enough To Wear Pink" on Thursday. We'll be collecting money for the American Cancer Society. Last year with the help of the Red Knee Challenge, Blue Eyed Drifter, Vix-n with Vaqueros, Mrs. Pleasant, Widder and many others we were able to collect over $7000 last year. This year Chickamauga Slim has challenged us to collect $10,000. This is a bold challenge but we'll try and with enough help we can make it. The Tennessee State Championship Oct. 12-14 is rapidly approaching and it should be another good one. We've been getting some new targets and new stands and if you like Big and Close you'll love this match.
