  1. I decided to attend some matches this year which I have never competed. The Damascus Rangers Thunder Valley Days, "Crossfire Trail" was one of those I selected. This turned out to be one of my better decisions. What a Great Match. They have a very nice developed, almost flat, range with plenty of space between the berms. Everyone was so friendly and willing to give an older shooter a hand if needed. This is one of those hidden gems of which I plan to return to next year. They have a very nice facility. The match was well planned, and the scenarios were varied and interesting which were easily understood with no "P" Traps. Even though I tried my best to smoke up the vicinity by shooting the real black. I was really just trying to keep the gnats and mosquitoes at bay. I want to thank all of those hard workers who volunteered their time to give us a fun match. It takes pards who are willing to do this work to have everything ready. I saw Dogmeat Dad constantly running around trying to make sure everything was going as planned. But, when I looked at the "Who's Attending" List. Dogmeat Dad's name was not on the list. They also gave very nice awards made by Chuckaroo, who also shot the match. I like to shoot Long-Range where I met Tomahawk Teri and Damascus Steel who did a fantastic job of keeping this event going smoothly. Frontier Lone Rider
