Has anyone had a chance to compare in person the 8 shot .357 magnum snubbies made by Ruger (Redhawk) and Smith and Wesson (627 PC)? If so, any thoughts on the two? I know there are a couple videos online and I've seen them... wanting more thought from y'all. And yes, "buy both" ain't an impossibility but it might take awhile to get there.

I just picked up a brand new Taylor’s/Uberti 1873 rifle in .357 for my better half. I’m looking for a short stroke kit for it but was advised that not all of them are SASS-legal. Some insight and experience would be appreciated since the website doesnt show anything for this bullet. I also realize lighter loads are preferable, so it makes more sense to know what works for others and maybe i can minimize somw trial & error. thanks!
