  2. If this is a Cimarron Model 1878CG standard blue 1878 Coach Gun then the price is indeed right at regular dealer cost, which of course, is good. But, if purchased on a Cimarron sale, you might get at tad cheaper price with offer to help dealer move the product.. BTW, Any other letters on the Model number (1878CGUS01, or the Doc Holliday Model SH906) would surely make price much more of a bargain. If you are interested in a hammer double then this should be good start, and Cimarron does have great products.
  3. My step son used to race against Ivan Stewart who drove for the Toyota race team and helped them develope the Toyota racing trucks and eventually the TRD. Ivan got quite offended when you would call one of the TRD’s a turd but not many people let that stop them. You’d think they’d come up with something a little more creative.
  4. HOWDY; Bought Marlin 45 colt CB in 2000, works and shoots fine. Bought NEW Marlin 45 colt fall 2018. works and shoots fine.
  5. Just polish that turd it will be better
  6. Big shout out to Flat Top Okie and Missouri Mar for their top notch organization, coordination, and communication leading up to this wonderful match. I have never felt more informed and excited to go to a match before. From keeping their website up to date to concise communications about the status of the match, just all top notch. The Mrs and I hit the road tommorow as a part of the IA crew and can't wait for a fun filled weekend. I was smart this time and pulled out cash for the Mrs and said, "Here's your budget for working ranch, but no more!" See y'all soon!!!
  7. I have an outdated by 5 newer models Samsung phone that is almost never even turned on. I have it in the car when going anywhere just in case of an emergency. I don't use it for email or internet except for the bank application to deposit checks instead of driving to the bank in person. I have used the flashlight and the camera feature a few times.

  9. Warden Callaway

    Cell Phone

Three features I use on my dumb smart phone are.. 1) flashlight 2) magnifier (through camera zoom function) 3) clock. I don't call or answer the phone. I have maybe 10 people in my contract list. And they know not to call me.
  10. Afraid that there FaceBook would bring trouble if I tried it. I leave that to Sassy and she sure enjoys posting pictures. If you get into it, look her up. If you do, be sure and use your SASS name somewhere in title. She is always asking me who someone is who are wanting to be friends on FaceBook. You know how it is, so many folks we only know by their alias.
  11. Look at page 93. Measuring tapes. Now, this has to be a wholesale place. Buy stuff to sell in your store And here's a box of a dozen measuring tapes. $4. And the MSRP is marked on the box. 25¢. I buy this box of twelve for $4, sell all of them in my store for 25¢ each. Gross sales $3. Net loss $1. They have two different brands of 25¢ tapes for $4 a dozen, and one of smaller, 10¢ tapes, for $1.60 a dozen. That one's a better deal. You only lose 60¢ per case with them, instead of a dollar, like with the bigger ones.
  12. Texans have been known to kill each other, especially if no one else is handy.
  13. What do you think of this for a shtf arsenal? I think the owner is gun poor.
  14. I have a routine too, but when something breaks that routine! I had purchase wooden spoked wheels for my gun cart. Wheels were out in the shop drying from a coat of paint when I loaded the truck up on Friday evening. Saturday morning I was a mile from home when I remembered (fortunately) the the wheels were in the shop and not in the truck.
  15. The guy is incredible but I think it makes it awful boring to watch. Like I've said before, every game is a blowout. I see no fun in watching that.
  16. "Those who didn't do that paid the price. 104 shooters had 7 SDQs, 64 Ps, and a boatload of misses". I'm not so sure that's a good thing.
  17. Hammered TTN/Cimarron is what I choose.
  18. Doesn't this truck say turd?
  19. Everything in this catalog is interesting but I found the gun section particularly interesting. The start around page 991. You can download the whole thing. https://ia800701.us.archive.org/29/items/LoganGreggHardwareCatNo30/Logan-Gregg Hardware Cat No 30.pdf
  20. Tuesday, April 23rd is the deadline for bills to pass through their chamber of origin. Two anti-gun bills remain eligible for floor votes and could be voted on any day. Please contact your Assembly Member and urge them to OPPOSE AB 291 and AB 153. Click the “Take Action” button to contact your Assembly member. Assembly Bill 291, introduced by Assemblywoman Sandra Jauregui (D-41), is omnibus anti-gun legislation that is a threat to both law-abiding gun owners residing in Nevada and those who are visiting. Most notably, AB 291 would: Allow Local Gun Control Laws: Nevada's firearm preemption laws have been on the books since 1989 and have been improved over the years to ensure consistency in firearm laws throughout the state, by occupying the field of firearm related regulations with the State Legislature. With the amendments to AB 291, the legislature would cede authority to the counties to pass stricter gun control laws without limitation. This move could result in a confusing patchwork of laws for both residents and visitors to navigate while subjecting Nevadans in one county to a different set of rules and regulations regarding their constitutional rights than to a person in a neighboring county. Criminalize Certain Firearm Modifications: With the amendments, this legislation remains broader than existing federal regulations, and would criminalize certain modifications on semi-automatic firearms. Violations of this section would result in felony penalties. Expand the ability for localities to create “gun-free zones:” These arbitrary boundaries would only disarm law-abiding citizens and leave them defenseless against the criminals who ignore such restrictions. Assembly Bill 153, introduced by Assembly Member Ozzie Fumo (D-21), would expand Nevada's current law regulating firearm storage that could make firearms unavailable for self-defense. Again, please contact your Assembly member and urge them to OPPOSE AB 291 and AB 153.
  21. Fairfax, Va. - Chris W. Cox, executive director of NRA’s Institute for Legislative Action, issued the following statement today in support of New York State Rifle & Pistol Association’s response to New York City’s feeble attempt to stop the lawsuit over the city’s unconstitutional firearm travel ban: “New York City’s problem is they think they’re regulating a privilege instead of a fundamental, constitutional right. The city’s attempt to slightly modify its unconstitutional law is a nakedly transparent delay tactic. We are confident that the U.S. Supreme Court will reject New York’s shenanigans and allow the case to proceed.” Established in 1871, the National Rifle Association is America's oldest civil rights and sportsmen's group. More than five million members strong, NRA continues to uphold the Second Amendment and advocates enforcement of existing laws against violent offenders to reduce crime. The Association remains the nation's leader in firearm education and training for law-abiding gun owners, law enforcement and the armed services. Be sure to follow the NRA on Facebook at NRA on Facebook and Twitter @NRA.
