If I am reading the hand book correctly,  you can use a rifle or pistol slide over a shotgun loop, but can't use a shotgun slide over a shoot gun loop (I would assume thins means no 12ga loops over a 20ga belt).

Am I correct?

I have a shotgun belt that has billet to billet shotgun loops and would like to put a pistol slide over one to have a extra rifle reload handy.Screenshot_20260930_124940_Chrome.thumb.jpg.0b7abb4b7f42dfaa035d7cabca0dd643.jpg

You could remove or cut-off some existing loops where you want to put your ammo slide.  It would no longer be over the existing loops.

Have we ever had a issue with folks sticking ammo up their nose?

If somebody wants to shove shells up their I say let them......and sell some tickets.

I would pay good, hard earned government dollars to see this.

Nope, Looked at the third bullet point in the original post.

I did see it there. There were two recent coincidences in other threads.

First, there was a bigger current thread on that point. Second, another member recently did post in a (completely unrelated) wrong thread...

So I was actually probing to see if there is some forum software bug. If you too had intended to post in a different thread... It seemed plausible.
