Inadvertently broke the rear sitght blade on my rifle this morning.

can this be replaced or do I have to replace the entire rear sight?

Might be the perfect time to upgrade to a Skinner sight on the rear. If this is not a competition rifle. Otherwise, a tang mounted sight would be needed for a peep.

However, if this is not a competition rifle a receiver mounted peep is quite the ticket!

Skinner

Does Skinner make a tang one too?

I just looked over their offerings for the Marlin and do not see anything tang mounted.

I added a clarifier to my original post.

A large and hearty vote for Skinner.  I also vote for the "Smith Sights" ladder sight.  The Smith sight is superb.

I lost mine and got a replacement from Midwest Gun Works.  See https://www.midwestgunworks.com/marlin-model-1894/rear-sight-folding-leaves.html.  I do not recommend super glue.  It is brittle and may shatter from the shock of recoil.

I bought the one in stock.  I was able to get point-of-aim at about 10-yds and am satisfied with the sight.

guess I’ll find out.  Mine looks like the medium size.
