Jack Spade Posted September 16 Posted September 16 I have lost some weight and my clothes are getting baggy. Most of my existing clothing came from Wild West Mercantile but in looking at their online catalog they don't seem to have what I am looking for in stock or in my size. What are the alternatives to shopping with them? Quote

Jimmy Reb, SASS #54804 Posted September 16 Posted September 16 I shoot b-west. So jeans are available at Walmart. Cowboy shirts are available at Walmart, Tractor Supply, Murdoch's, and a local supply store. Living in the "Cowboy State" helps. 1 Quote
Sarge Posted September 16 Posted September 16 I've been buying shirts from J. Hornaday Dry Goods. 2 Quote
Jack Spade Posted September 16 Author Posted September 16 Ok, I am specifically looking for Frontier Classics "cowboy" pants. I do not like the high waist with the split V yoke in the back for the suspenders. I went to the frontier classics website and when I click on any of the pants it brings up a website error. Guess I will have to call them. Quote
Will Kane Posted September 16 Posted September 16 You might consider checking out Wild West Mercantile, Historical Emporium and Texas Jack Wild West Outfitter. 1 1 Quote
H. K. Uriah, SASS #74619 Posted September 16 Posted September 16 (edited) Cabelas has some nice shirts that work well for Cowboy shooting. They may not be super "accurate" but they fit the bill and do look old fashioned and are not too expensive. I remember once I was road tripping to a shoot out in the Midwest. (I live in New England.) About 4 hours after leaving home, I realized I'd left my shirts hanging sitting on the kitchen table where I'd put them so I'd not forget them. Didn't work out that way... Anywhoo, stopped at the first Cabelas on the way and got three or four decent shirts to wear. Edited September 16 by H. K. Uriah, SASS #74619 Quote
La Sombra Posted September 16 Posted September 16 Ebay might have what you're looking for. However, I agree that a WTB ad might be better. La Sombra Quote

Vail Vigilante Posted September 16 Posted September 16 The question is are you at your goal weight? Because if you are not, you might be better off to find a person to alter what you still have. Of course depending on how many clothes you want to replace. Quote
Cpt Dan Blodgett, SASS #75655 Posted September 16 Posted September 16 Sass wire local matches and thrift stores Quote
Edward R S Canby, SASS#59971 Posted September 17 Posted September 17 Locally I've bought some nice B-Western shirts at Cavenders. There is one in Kansas City. Texas Jacks is good both online and, in their brick, and mortar store. For local matches I just wear blue jeans. I prefer zippered trousers over ones with buttons. Quote

Kid Rich Posted September 17 Posted September 17 Boot Barn also gives a SASS discount. You may have to tell them as some stores don't realize it. kR 1 1 Quote

My Mrs. is a full time quilter and owns I think 6 top of the line sewing machines and a $50k longarm quilt machine. She has made me a couple of vests but draws the line at pants and shirts. Quote

So I made 'em myself. It ain't rocket science, a pattern and just ignore the man card, and read the instructions... 😉 I have the opposite problem, I probably found the weight you lost! Maybe even some others! 1 Quote
