Almost made a grave mistake this morning

Upon waking up I was in a spicy mood. I started getting my daily stuff done to start our day. My wife grabbed our laptops, phones and tablets to clean them. I said if you’re cleaning my phone I’ll swap my case. 

She responded with oh yeah I gotta order new cases for each season for my new phone. 

I responded with yeah you need a new phone case like you need another pair of shoes. ( she has 5 bins of shoes under our bed😁)

 

The look I got said it all. 
 

Luckily for me I’ve been able to turn my attitude around for the remainder of the day and I’m still able so walk and sit.

I wouldn’t change anything here at our house. My wife is amazing and is the biggest saint ever. She sacrificed a lot for our family when our children were younger and we have reversed the roles. As long as our bills are paid she can buy what she wants when she wants.

Hey, yesterday my Wife threw away 2 pairs of as new Western dress boots and 2 pairs of nice shoes! I left them to the side at the Dump in a paper bag for someone to salvage.  I believe I now have more boots than she has shoes! No friction - we keep a house account and separate personal accounts - have since we were married 45 odd years ago.  Works and I would recommend it to any couple starting out.

my wife wasn't all that interested in guns but she managed to buy me about  dozen over the 51 years we were together before she passed away......and she never said anything of a negative manner when I bought more.  She just raised an eye brow now and again, and smiled a lot.

 

One year she was stumped and ended up buying me 1,000 rounds of .45 ACP ammo for Christmas.

we pretty much do the same , my account pays all the bills and most of the projects around here she uses hers for all the gifting and the fun stuff she does with grandkids as well as any stuff she does around here in decor , plantings and such
