Tell Sackett SASS 18436 Posted September 6 Posted September 6 There aren’t any! Closest you’re gonna find is in Edmond, I think. 1 Quote
Rattlesnake Slim Posted September 6 Posted September 6 Hi Mark. A couple of years ago we got a nice little Air B&B in Edmund for $750 for the week. Walking distance from restaurants, walmart and more. About 30 minute drive to the range with little traffic. I'll email you details if I can find them. 1 Quote
Edward R S Canby, SASS#59971 Posted September 6 Posted September 6 (edited) There are several motels at the intersection of I-35 and 2nd St (US77 westbound, 66 eastbound). These are mentioned on Land Run's "Where to Stay" link. I would use Tripadvisor to judge the quality of the properties. Arcadia is a hamlet with no motels and limited dining. Dantankerous Posted September 6 Posted September 6 I have stayed at La Quinta in the area the above mentions. Always clean, quiet and pleasant. I am never the only CAS folk there.. lots of us. 3 Quote
Hoss Posted September 6 Posted September 6 I now have an RV, so stay in it on the range. But previously stayed in Airbnb in Edmond. Cheaper than a hotel. And especially if you get a 3 BR and share with a couple other cowboys. I hunted for one with a garage, was nice to park truck inside & not worry about guns & gear! 2 Quote
T-Square Posted September 7 Posted September 7 you could also do an "RV SHARE" - if The Club have room in one of the RV areas. We did a nice RV SHARE last year. Loved it so much, we bought a new RV. Quote
X Mark Posted September 7 Author Posted September 7 Thank you for all the helpful suggestions ! We have landed at the La Quinta at Rt.66 and I-35. 4 Quote
PrairieDogPete Posted September 7 Posted September 7 Look on google maps. There are plenty of hotels within 15 minutes, but then you will have a little bit more of a drive to the banquet. Quote
WymoreWrangler SASS 46187L Posted September 7 Posted September 7 We have had great and bad stays at the La Quinta, first time was great, everything was clean and top notch, next time it was dirty and we had roaches in the room and the front desk was indifferent to it and it was really late at night and to late to change, sound like they may have clean up their act since... 1 1 Quote
