H. K. Uriah, SASS #74619 Posted August 28 Posted August 28 I'm waiting for it to be available in .44 Magnum. No, I don't want the the Jackal. Quote
Muggins Posted August 28 Posted August 28 I shot another member's Pedersoli rifle a couple weeks ago after our match concluded. It was a hoot for sure. No slam fire option, but his rifle ran great as long as it was forcefully cycled both ways (failure to fire when not racked hard in both directions). He stated it wouldn't cycle 38 SPL, only .357 MAG. It's a really cool gun for sure! Quote
watab kid Posted August 29 Posted August 29 u think id like one but im gettin too old to enjoy it Quote
Leroy Luck Posted August 29 Posted August 29 On MidwayUSA’s site it list the rifle as being a 4+1 capacity (at least the 45 Colt variation), that sounds odd to me. I figured they’d hold at least 10 rounds. Quote

Roger Rapid Posted August 29 Posted August 29 They will hold 10+ 45LC rounds... Several dealers how have them. Tombstone Tactical in Phoenix has them for $1,747. RR 1 Quote
SnakeM Posted August 30 Posted August 30 Hmmm...Muggins posted about .357 only not .38 special. That is the old model. The new version is not out yet. And per Pedersoli it should take both... Quote
Roger Rapid Posted August 30 Posted August 30 SnakeM... The .previous version of Pedersoli's Lightning - which they now refer to as the "Classic" Lightning - was available in .44-40, .45LC and 357. Generally speaking, none of the clones ran .38s as well as they did .357. The new version of Pedersoli's Lightning is called a "Silver Spur" and It is out there and many of the shops have them. At the moment they are only available in .45LC. The .357 version is supposed to come later in the year. (There's another interesting post on the Silver Spur entitled "Pedersoli Lightnings are shipping again!!!" - it has lots of good info. Check it out.) RR 1 Quote

Roger Rapid Posted Tuesday at 11:56 PM Posted Tuesday at 11:56 PM T.G. Rye... The first version of the Pedersoli Silver Spur is in .45LC. I have heard they are hoping to get a .357 version out by end of the year. RR Quote
SnakeM Posted Wednesday at 11:52 AM Posted Wednesday at 11:52 AM I emailed pedersoli and it also should feed .38 special! Quote
