Forty Rod SASS 3935 Posted August 22 Posted August 22 I saw one horizon-to-horizon double rainbow over Great Salt Lake when I lived in Utah, and we used to see a lot of them when we were stationed on Okinawa, usually over the ocean to the west. Way back in the late 70's or early 80's, I was riding on a local transit bus here in E.TN and we actually drove thru the end of the rainbow. We could see its colors in front of us as we moved down the interstate and when we got to it, the inside colors of the bus all changed with the colors of the rainbow coming thru our windows. It was a very unique experience. At the speed the bus was traveling, it only lasted about 4 seconds. NO.....I didn't get any gold in my pockets after we passed thru it............but I did check my pockets. ..........Widder Quote
