R.I.P. Buffy

Buff Porcean  (Richmond Regulators) passed away.  He sponsored my membership in the Richmond Rod & Gun Club.  He was well known in San Francisco having owned a handful of taverns, houses, etc.

 

Godspeed to you, Buffy.

 

 This has been a rough year for the territory, starting out with the losses of Dolly Tabor followed by Frank Tabor (I M Nobody).

Yes we lost Buffy, he was one of the founders of the Richmond Roughrider. Buffy made me a RO. 

   He was a great guy to shoot with, just a fun guy and friend. He hadn't shot with us for a number of years, when I would talk with him he would always say I may be at the next match.

   At our next match we will give him our 21 gun salute to honor him.

Praying you are in greener pastures my friend.

Last time I was back in the bay, I got to shoot a match at Richmond.  IIRC Vesperado mentioned it’d almost been a decade since Buffy’d made it out.

Didn't know Frank had died.  Seems like he retired yesterday.  Sad.
