Oreo unveils 3 new limited flavors, invites fans to vote on favorite https://share.google/MLXl2BF2yc1b8ypp5https://www.usatoday.com/story/money/food/2026/08/13/oreo-unveils-new-limited-time-flavors/91274421007/

"Oreo is launching three limited‑edition flavors—Banana Pudding, Deep Fried, and Chicken & Waffles—on Aug. 17, letting customers vote for their favorite, with the winning flavor slated to return in the 2027 lineup."

No.

Just plain No.

A bit of humor though....when I saw this on FB, then went to the Oreo website the standard action box popped up, "Accept all cookies."

Took me 4 or 5 minutes to stop laughing.

I might go for the banana pudding one and I GUARANTEE that Tennessee Williams will go “coocoo for Cocoa Puffs over it!

But I’m a bit peeved with NABISCO!! The Oreos today have far less filling than they used to and the double stuffed ones are now the equivalent of the original product!

That ain’t all that tics me off about them lately, but I’ll let it slide for now!

I'll agree that maybe....maybe.....the banana pudding flavor might be vaguely acceptable if you like banana pudding. But since I put banana pudding just above lime Jello with Shredded Carrots and Raisins "salad" I think I'll pass.

I want calf's liver and sausage gravy.

Not at gunpoint!  Went to bed without dinner more than a few times over liver (good source of iron) as a kid.  Cannot think of anything that would make it edible.

For a couple of years they had a pumpkin spice cookie then they stopped making them. If they don’t bring it back this Fall I will not buy any more of their cookies at all.

I don't like liver and onions, but once in awhile I like liver and country sausage gravy with about the only dark green vegetable I like (asparagus baked with butter and bacon jam), and fresh corn on the cob, and some corn bread with butter and honey.  Maybe once a year the urge grabs me.

I had no idea that there is another human being that doesn't like banana pudding.

Used to get the urge for fried chicken livers about once a year, but it hasn't happened in about ten years.  Beef liver... never.

The overall theme could be said to be "Food I Won't Eat."

I don't understand the hate so many delicate souls have for liver. Yeah,  it's not the Truffled Chateaubriand and Alaskan King Crab Legs and Drawn Butter you wete weaned on, but it's not bad.

Par,cook some bacon and cut in half, slice some onions and add to pan onmedium low heat. Cut the liver into 3/4" x 3/4" x 2" pieces. Season with salt, pepper, and fresh sage. Wrap with bacon,  put 3 or 4 pieces on skewers (either flat skewers or 2 round skewers so they don't spin on the skewers). Push onions sides of pan, add the skewers, crisp bacon, turn, crisp the 2nd side. Serve with mashed potatoes and green beans.

The trick with liver is to not cook it to death.

thanks any fraction works for me - ive had a dislike for my scotts heritage haggis as well as growing up every friday was haggis and boiled cabbage at my grandparents house , that smell has never left me - dead fish is preferred

Properly cooked beef liver and onions ain’t for everyone but it’s one of those things that, for some crazy reason, I DIDN’T have to “develop a taste” for!  I do like it occasionally.

When ya’s talk about catfish,  they have to be cleaned and skinned just right!  If it’s done properly, fried or smoked catfish is as good or better than most fish you’ll ever eat!

My opinion, of course…

Drawn butter is a criminal waste of real butter

haggis is blood sausage of scots origin and as much as i favor my scots side ive never found the stomach for that , to your statement i was married to two Norwegians and no ill never eat the fish they prepare in lye - i guess every  culture has things that we reject even tho we value our culture , im proud to be a scottsman - in spite  of their politics and in spite of the food thats traditional , ive never worn a kilt but id consider it in the right setting , my scotts ancestors came here a long time ago and did all right - some very well , some foolishly lost what they gained by bad choices , im sure its the same in most families ,

mine is getting smaller as we type there are three of us left , only my brother carries on the name/blood line but im not holding out hope for his son at this point , my kids are mine but they have a different father - no worries here they are doing well im proud of them

I'm a Scot....and Irish, English, Welch, and Walloon on Dad's side.  We've been on the American soil since about ten years after the Mayflower landed.

On Mom's side I'm English, Italian, French, and German.  This mob got here in time to settle Cache Valley, Utah in 1847...and were on the way west six years prior to that.

Both families have spread across the planet and been rich and poor everywhere they lived.

I'm very proud of my heritage....and EVERYONE of them have some foods that are never, ever going to be seen on my plate.

And, as a land owner in Scotland, I am a Laird and have and worn the tartans of the Taylor, Cavannagh (in all of its various spellings), and Stewart clans.

When i was regularly attending Scottish Games I wore the Feileadh Mór in the early Tudor era style. People in their Bonnie Prince Charlie Feileadh Beags would stop me for photos.  I also got grabbed by groups of 16th century living history types and told,  "You're marching with us in the opening parade."
