Rev Willy Dunkum, SASS # 61027 Posted August 9 Posted August 9 I nearly lost my wife twice, a year ago January when she had a saddle block embolism caused by a blood clot and nearly lost her. Secondly a week ago when she survived a risky Basal Invagination surgery in Chicago. We had some very hard conversations and can only imagine only too real, the thought of going on without her. Every day is precious. My wife and I had that conversation as well, after watching her brother's physical and mental and mental descent. We agreed neither of us wanted to go on like that and promised each other, if the time came, we would sign the DNA forms for the other. When it happened to my love, after surgery, she only lasted 10 months in hospital and Long Term Care. She told our son and I "It's time for me to see the Angels" which broke me.
