I did a Google Search today for "Largest Gun Store in America" and one of the places that came up was a place called Adventure Outdoors in Smyrna, Georgia.

I was looking over their list online of used guns and I found a Great Western derringer in .38 S&W.   I've been looking for one of these for YEARS.   So, I called them up and told them I want to buy it.    Well, they told me they only do in store sales, and that I'd have to go to the store, buy it in person, and they would then ship it to me.

To their store, in Georgia.   I live in Massachusetts.  Not exactly an option for me, but they are "not set up" to sell used guns out of state.   I wanted to say then take down your website that says you are the largest gun store in the country and especially the listing of used guns.   But, I didn't.  Wouldn't do any good.

Anyway, the derringer in question IS over 50 years old, so it is a C&R gun.    Is there, by chance, anyone here who lives near this store that would be willing to buy the gun so that I can then buy it from you?   I'd send you a check and my C&R, which would make everything legal.

The cost of the gun is $350, and I think the guy I talked to say it comes with a holster.

Anyway...  I know that there might not be anyone who can do this, or that someone in the area might grab the gun for themselves.   That's okay.  I'd rather it go to a fellow SASS shooter than to someone random.   :)

So, any takers?   PM me if you think we can work something out.

I'm surprised you were able to find anything. I just went to their website. Did a search.

Smith & Wesson model 28. Said they have 11.

All 11 are shotguns.

Tried another search.

Smith & Wesson revolver. Said they have 311.

I only looked at the first page - heritage, charter, North american, rhino, taurus,...

They were all revolvers. None of them were Smith and Wesson.

My conclusion was their website sucks and I didn't want to mess with it anymore.

Oh, their website leaves much to be desired on many levels.

I found it by scrolling through this list...
