Leathersmith Posted August 5 Posted August 5 I have an abundance of bird head Single Sixes. My daughters like them, but I prefer a plow handle. I have a spare pair that I have been playing with. I have extra Ruger grip frames, but I didn’t want to mess with fitting/finishing them. I’ve had this idea for years, and after I finally determined I’d never get around to doing it myself, I reached out to Henry Lance at Texas Grips and he made them a reality. I am beyond pleased with the quality and feel of these grips. So if you’re looking to change things up, or you find a sweet deal on a pair of birds heads but you prefer plow handles, these might be worth checking out… you were going to buy custom grips anyway! 9 4 Quote

July Smith Posted Wednesday at 07:12 PM Posted Wednesday at 07:12 PM Looks awesome! Reminds me of a few pairs of S&W grips I have that convert round butts to square. 1 Quote

Fordyce Very nice. I have two sets of grip frames, plow & round, for several pairs of my favorite revolvers. Seems I just get the notion to change every couple of years. Suspect these grips are not cheap but WAAAAY cheaper that complete set of grip frames with grips. Very inventive and appears to be fine quality. 1 Quote
