This one sent me an email from a legit SASS member regarding my offer to buy was made. To make a long story short here is his information he sent me in a number of emails attempting to obtain funds from me.

Arthur Felix Jr

9716 Echo Hills Dr

Las Vegas, NV 89134

Phone number 616-310-1927

While his mailing address is Las Vegas the phone number is Grand Rapids, MI area and goes directly into voice mail but not able to leave message.

Neither the seller or myself lost anything but some time

I just did a little research and found that Arthur and Gloria Felix have owned that address in Vegas since 2018.  It's a $500K house in a pretty nice neighborhood.  Have you checked with the SASS office to see if the Alias and real name match up?  Might just be poor communications between the two of you.  Nothing wrong with being suspicious.

I would not consider him a scammer just because of the phone number. For 17 years, I didn't have a personal cell phone and used the company-provided cell phone as my point of contact to everyone. That phone number is from Indiana, and I moved to Arizona, working for the same company, over six years ago. So I have issues with local businesses accepting that I am not a scammer until I explain why I have an out-of-state number. As I am nearing retirement, I realized I should have my own private phone number, so now I have two cell phones. My wife kept her Indiana number just so every friend and family member can get in touch with her (even if it's 6 am in Indiana and 3 am in Arizona...)

That phone number belongs to a known scammer, Todd German, who is listed on our "Scammers:  Names, Phone Numbers, and Email Addresses" thread, pinned at the top of the Classified section.   Anything involving Todd German is a scam.

Outlaw Gambler on this thread is (I assume) the same Outlaw Gambler who runs a business related to the sport (selling "the best Winchester 97s delivered worldwide"). So phone numbers and eMail on his website and at least one posting on this site.

You are correct, I have a business with my email posted and that is one reason I try to be careful. The real seller confirmed to me Sunday morning that the gun was sold to another CAS member and is not available. A few hours later I get an email from the real sellers email asking why I haven't called him yet. again, gave me the Arthur .... name and address. I didn't reply, Scammer sent another email asking if I had sent payment yet (On a Sunday?). I told him I was going to pass on it.

Oh, by the way, this is not the first time this scammer, Todd German, and I have hooked horns. I don't know how he got the real seller's email address.

Good folks have been labeled Scammers because of the nefarious activities of others. I know.

OG, that message he sent you asking why you hadn't called did not come from the real sellers email  It was my alias Jeb Stuart but the rest of the address was fake.

Yes, I noticed the sudden difference in the text font.

I would have told the funds were in the mail and let him keep watching for the money.
