When I first gave him peanuts he pretty much ignored the ones in the shell. It occurred to me that being a wild bird, he might never have seen a peanut. Scary smart birds. The peanut cage we have is very loose, so peanuts can fall out easily. The crows would wait on the house across from us and wait for their cousins to knock peanuts out of it. They've also training my wife to feed them shelled walnuts when they stare in our window and Caw! 2 Quote
