The title says it all.  I was cleaning up my reloading room and I've got a bucket full of empty primer trays.  Does anyone know of any use for them?  Can they be thrown in with the recycling?  It seems a waste to just throw them in the trash.

I've been recycling mine. No idea if they're ok or not! They're plastic!

A slightly amusing anecdote:

A number of years ago, my wife, had an acquaintance visiting, who saw some of my discarded primer trays and asked what they were.

Sherron, knowing the woman had a gun phobia, told her the trays were miniature, gourmet chocolate chip holders.

If they have that triangle with a number in it to identify the type of plastic, they might be recyclable. 1s and 2s are, a few of the others are not

Let them sort it out, they’re getting stuff for free!

In many cases they are being paid to take it.  Though I do cringe when I see that folks have emptied their ashtrays into the recycle bins.

Mini ice cube trays. The amount of money we pay for trash and recycling here in Vt. They should be coming into my house and taking it out for me🤔

If ya eat a lot of green peas... they won't roll off the tray so dang easy.

Nah, I eat my peas with honey, I've done it all my life.

It makes the peas taste funny, but it keeps them on my knife.

(Thanks, Dad)

If you make, or think you will ever make your own percussion caps, empty primer trays hold those little aluminum cups nicely.
