I have no idea what happened or why .

But all the old post are gone ?

It used to be , if you was doing a Google search and something about your search was on The SASS Wire .

You could go to the post are read the whole thing .

No matter how old it was .

Did not check the other sections, but SASS Wire posts go back to 2009 with over 1,700 screens of posts. Here is the oldest post:

 

 

For the classifieds, there is an ongoing purge intended to remove any thread with no activity for a week. This is part of an effort to battle against scammers. Kind of like shutting the barn door after the horses get out, but trusting members still keep putting personal contact info into public posts.

We're still finding members who put their personal contact information in their profiles and signatures.  Remnants of a more trusting time, when the site didn't generate as much traffic as now.

You must be referring to the Classified Forum.  After a week of complete inactivity, posts are hidden, rather than deleted, so we can retrieve one for you, as you requested.  Posts older than 2026 have been permanently deleted.  Hopefully, this will cut down on scammers finding personal information contained in those. We are bringing the forum into compliance with the Classified Forum Guidelines, which are not new.

I can usually find old posts that I made.

I Google "HK Uriah SASS (topic)" and there is a good chance it will come up.   

Sometimes the results are more obvious than others, but it generally does work.
