I’m looking for original or replica cartridge boxes

I’m looking for high grade pictures or scans of cartridge box labels from the 1880s and 1890s as well as reproduction 2 piece cartridge boxes.  Specifically I am looking for .44-40, .38 S&W, and 12 guage (with brass shells!)

 

My goal is not to make an exact reproduction but rather something that looks like it COULD be an original, I.E. a fictitious label but using correct period styling, that way no one can claim it as original, yet it would pass as one (from an off brand) under casual inspection/observation.  It would just feel more authentic than modern boxes and plastic cases.  Can anyone point me in the right direction?

My first thought is to find images on line, scale and print labels, cut to size, and stick them onto other ammo boxes.

They are plastic, but do not look like plastic. A couple boxes for match use would be $40 plus shipping. That sounds fair for the cost of labels and considering actual paper boxes would wear out quickly. Should someone get these, a review would be appreciated. I'm bookmarking the site but no spare money at the moment, bought a can for a build and need to get past that first.

 

On edit: I put 4 boxes in the cart, free shipping. Close inspection though shows no .38 Special box.

Duke's pic of the Cheyanne Cartridge box showcases something that was really great, but gone. 

Buffalo Arms has a few boxes still in stock, but I forget which calibers.

 

I do have one box of theirs on .44-40, and I have some old timey .38 S&W boxes, as well as a 12 Gauge all brass box.

I will post scans of what I have after work tonight.   Just a proviso, some are in better shape that others.
