This is a case of misdirected effort expended for the purpose of self aggrandizement!! This guy is simply trying to justify his existence by calling attention to himself decrying the wrong perceived problem!!

You may not like what they are doing, but it works.  If people don't do business with these companies, and let the companies know why, some companies will change their business practices to get the business.  We need to do the same to businesses that don't support the Constitution the Second Amendment and America in general.  But we don't!  How many people in the classifieds want you to use PayPal?  Everyone knows PayPal is anti-2A and anti-Constitution in general, but we still use them.  And there are other choices.  I see people recommending Levi jeans.  Levi is also anti-2A and anti-Constitution.  Just to name a couple.  We bitch but are too lazy to actually do anything to fight back.  How many of you went back to drinking Bud Light?

Sounds like the guy has found a way to get people to send him money so he can live a lavish lifestyle as the CEO of a company that does nothing but prey on the misguided emotions of others.

 

Not unlike the people that started the BLM movement.  They did nothing that actually helped the people they claimed to represent. They did however pay themselves an obscene amount of money bilked from others by preying on their emotions.

You’d be amazed at how minute the effect of this kind of thing has on corporations!! They seldom IF EVER listen directly to the general public!! Instead, they pay huge sums of money to other corporations to tell them what they should or shouldn’t support and then that is lightly balanced against their bottom line!

 

As the article said, the organization has been unable to provide any evidence that what they are doing has had ANY real impact!

As Blackwater said, consumer boycotts have negligible effect. Their customer base is diverse enough that no one segment will have a serious impact on their bottom line and if it happens to make an impact, it doesn't last long. Social justice warriors have short memories and are always looking for something else to whine about.

 

The exception being Bud Lite. The Bud Lite boycott had a real impact because they alienated about 80% of their customer base in one fell swoop. This one outlier convinced most other companies to stay out of the social justice arena and just say no to anyone asking them to take a side.  Yes Bud Lite has recovered some but it is unlikely they will ever dominate the market again.
