Jughill Posted July 6 Posted July 6 Does anyone know of a short stroke kit for the 1892 Miroku Winchester? Quote
Griff Posted July 7 Posted July 7 In my 40+ years of cowboy action participation, I am unaware of any successfully short stroked mdl 1892 action, regardless of maker. They can be made to run very smoothly and reliably, but, short stroked... nope. 1 Quote

I have been told by a couple of reputable smiths that it might be possible but they haven't tried it because the gunsmithing required is cost prohibitive. Quote
Colorado Coffinmaker Posted July 8 Posted July 8 The short answer is NO. Expanded, there are NO known SS Kits for any '92, original or replicant. However, with a good spring kit and some judicious rubbin-n-buffin a '92 can be made to run very fast and smooth indeede!! Contact Nate Kiowa Jones (SteevezGunz) for his kit and DVD for tuning the '92. Quote
