Widder, SASS #59054 Posted July 5 Posted July 5 It was hot. But it ain't never too hot to blast away with a Gatlin Gun. Thanks to Marvelous Marvin, we all got to fire his real live Gatlin Gun. What a hoot! As always stages were great, Folks were greater..... and the food preparers were the greatest. Marvelous Marvin blazed the heat of the sun and the grill long enough to cook some great dogs and burgers. And just about everyone brought some food: Deviled eggs, Cowboy Beans, Pasta Salad, Nanner Pudding, cake, and multiple other stuff. Thanks Regulators. Ya dun gud! ..........Widder 5 4 Quote
doc roy l. pain Posted July 5 Posted July 5 We had a great time also. Good match and nice barbecue afterwards. I want to thank Widder for his generous donation of rimfire ammunition that I was fortunate enough to win. Being the 4th place shooter on the 4th of July had its rewards. Thanks Widder! Widder, SASS #59054 Posted July 5 Author Posted July 5 Blackwater, No doubt....you missed a HOT one. It also appears that no one fell out because of the heat. Did I say it was hot. I kept an ice pack around my neck when I wasn't actually shooting and that helped me a lot, along with some cold GatorAid. Sorri to hear your foot is still mending and sure hope you get better soon. Of course, like I've often stated..."what do spotters know". Special thanks to Dodge City Dixie for hanging with the posse and keeping score.
