Buckshot Bear Posted June 28 Posted June 28 I have been the Club Secretary of our Pistol, Rifle & Shotgun club for 30+ years and I'm always looking at ways to bring in money for the different disciplines. We shoot a range of disciplines Single Action, Wild Bunch, IPSC, ICORE, ISSF Bullseye matches and Metallic Silhouette matches etc etc I have designed a yearly 'Single Action Club Decal' for the last three years and they sell well for carts, gun boxes etc For years now at each shoot we also have $2.00 entry for a pin 'Clean Match Badge' but it's been male centric - I have now designed and placed an order for 100 pinned Clean Match Badges for the ladies, and yesterday showing them the artwork, they were immensely happy and very excited with it - All the monies collected throughout the year from the sale of the club decals and the entries into the Clean Match Badge go towards our annual big Single Action competition where we put on a massive day of competition with lots of prizes for competitors as well as lucky door prizes etc etc drinks and slow cooked BBQ brisket and BBQ pulled pork lunch which is greatly covered by these small monetary takings through the year......it's really works well for the club and the members. J-BAR #18287 Posted June 30 Posted June 30 Not only is striving for a clean match a worthy goal by itself, it is often a good competitive strategy. It's amazing how many times a good competitor will give away a match with a miss or a Procedural. Shooting clean is totally a shooter's choice. No one else is responsible for their mistakes. 2 Quote

I took out the match on Saturday, Jenorado came in 3rd. It's a nice day to go fast and shoot clean. 2 Quote
