Hickory Joe Posted June 24 Posted June 24 (edited) Up for grabs is a very nice, Winchester Model 1892 Rifle chambered in the classic .44-40 WCF. This is a traditional 24-inch round barrel configuration. It was manufactured by Miroku in Japan back in 1998, so it features the exceptional build quality, smooth action, and pristine rifling. This rifle has been used very little. It has a few minor handling dings in the wood from moving in and out of the safe, but otherwise, it's in very good condition and mechanically perfect. If you want a rock-solid, traditional-caliber main match rifle that gives you a great sight radius and feeds beautifully, this will do the trick. Price: $1,200 shipped to your FFL(AK/HI will be a hair more to cover the extra postage). No trades, trying to buy another rifle/set up on this forum. Caliber listed and the loading gate. Per DM he had to contact SASS to get his profile un-private'd or some such. I definitely hope everything is legit. Unfortunately there has been a change in the post for sale regarding the seller's alias, first one name, now another. With both aliases posted, when clicking on the alias, the search engine shows a membership date of 23JAN2020 and nothing more. So who exact is the owner and seller? I turn 70 on 9July so maybe could be considered senile and maybe somewhat ignorant but committing to purchase just goes against the grain of how I was raised. And before it is suggested, I do not feel I should have to contact the SASS headquarters to verify the seller. That is the seller's responsibility.
