I was thinking about how today is Father's Day and traditionally the children are supposed to bring you breakfast in bed. You know, lumpy oatmeal, burnt eggs, raw bacon, black toast, weak coffee.

I don't like breakfast in bed. I like my meals to be sitting on something solid. You're in the bed, and you move, and the mattress wiggles and everything on the plate wiggles also. Or if you just have it in your lap, that's even worse.

Mother's Day is even better, because the children completely destroy the kitchen making this lovely Mother's Day breakfast, and then you, the mother, have to clean up the mess.

Nope.  I'll have a night time snack in bed, but not breakfast. Eating before getting up to pee?

Even worse....Eating before brushing my teeth?

No thank you.

I’m not a breakfast person but definitely don’t want it in bed. A snack or ice cream with my wife is one thing. Luckily our matress doesn’t move.

I don't, and I've never had it. Never wanted it. About the only food I can see eating in bed might be a sammich or pizza.

When I was a child, my Dad would get up early on Mother's Day, make breakfast for Mom, and then get her up to come downstairs to eat.

No, no food in bed for me or my gal.

No tv for me either but she will watch tv on occasion when I'm watching something else on the main tv.

IMO, the bedroom is for sleeping and one other activity that I won't mention.

I do not like breakfast or any meal or snack in bed. If I am having breakfast in bed it’s because I am in the hospital and immobile.

When my daughter was a little girl she made me breakfast in bed for my birthday and on Father’s Day a couple of times. It definitely wasn’t traditional breakfast food. 😆 It was pretty much leftovers microwaved to beyond perfection.

The only times I have ever had any kind of food in bed I was in a hospital.

Based on many pictures I've seen online, it's for snuggling with your dog.
