Authorities with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to a call reporting a horse had been injured at a barn near the South Point Hotel Casino & Spa just after 2 a.m. Saturday, police said in a press release. Upon arriving on scene, authorities found three horses that had "been intentionally injured with a sharp object," the department said. The LVMPD Animal Cruelty Section was subsequently notified and dispatched to the barn, leading detectives to identify the teenage girl as a possible suspect in the alleged stabbings. We had a teenager/young adult think it was a great idea to shoot a horse with a bow. He shot it at night and left it. Owners found it the next morning. It was a two week investigation and finally the officer got what he needed to make the arrest. Shooter spent some time in jail. 4 Quote

Yep, a good indication of how a person will treat other people is how they treat animals. Abuse of animals is generally a reasonable indicator that the person is likely capable of abusing other people. 2 Quote
