Mexican Rob Posted May 26 Posted May 26 It is with a very heavy and broken heart that we share the loss of Don “Teaspoon” Emrick, a longtime and well-known member of the Yuma MatchMasters family. Teaspoon had been in and out of the hospital over the past several weeks, battling multiple forms of cancer along with serious complications involving his left leg. His son Jeff and Bobwire were with him when he passed, so he was not alone. I will carry many memories of Teaspoon in my heart — his kindness in always helping someone with a new gun, encouraging shooters to try a new division, welding and building countless targets and stands for the club, Gun shows, and always being ready to share a smile, a beer, and his great can-do spirit. As I write this, there are so many memories, friendships, and experiences with Teaspoon that all of us can reflect on and cherish. Teaspoon did not wish to have any services.
