Alpo Posted May 16 Posted May 16 Military funeral, and the wind is blowing. How do they keep the flag on the coffin? You could use bungee cord on the end that attaches to the pole because it's already got grommets. But the other end? Quote

Alpo Posted May 16 Author Posted May 16 I did not think about one hold-down encircling long ways. I was thinking about one around the head and one around the foot. 1 Quote

J. Mark Flint #31954 LIFE Posted May 26 Posted May 26 We had a furniture store when I was a young teen. Couches were covered and secured the same way with a thick long rubber band. Broken lamps have a hollow threaded rod inside them Upholstery needles in the back were nearly a foot long and about 1/10 of an inch in diameter Leather samples were abundant. So imagine a contraption duck taped together like a slingshot with a barrel.. Did you know a needle a foot long will go clean through a fence board when propelled by 8 strands of heavy rubber bands when utilized by a 13 year old imbecile? 1 2 Quote
