:D A BIG Thanks to all.  I found some tucked away and wondered how much to ask here locally.  It is not a big bunch.  C.W.  :FlagAm:

Reclaimed shot is cheaper 🤠

I bought reclaimed at the Ben Avery Clay Target Center for $40/25-lb bag at EOT this year.  For 10+ bags it was $35/bag.  I donate bags as raffle items at our annual match.  They are high demand items.

Local big box sporting goods stores charge about $52/bag for virgin shot.  They charged up to $65/bag a year ago.

We just did a club buy of reconditioned reclaimed shot (that none of us could distinguish from virgin shot) that worked out to $46.50/bag delivered (on a pallet to a club member's driveway).  That $35/bag for 10+ bags at Ben Avery was a great deal as long as the reclaimed shot was also reconditioned and not simply scooped up and sifted.

The vendor at Ben Avery had samples to examine.  The shot was clean, graphited and sorted to remove #9 shot.  The vendor is from Tucson and said he would be back for EOT in 2028.

I split ten bags of the shot from EOT with a pard.  Stuff looks, loads, and shoots like brand new.
