Yul Lose Posted April 29 Posted April 29 My SIL parked his nearly new Tahoe at the Springfield, Mo. airport and here’s what he came back to. The other 2 pictures are of cars parked nearby. I guess the only casualty was an Emu at the zoo. 2 2 Quote

Cypress Sun Posted April 29 Posted April 29 Looks like some pretty sizable hail, that sucks being a brand new vehicle. In 1983, I bought a blue w/fake wood panel sides 1974 Ford Country Squire station wagon for $75.00 that had hail damage. Somehow none of the glass was damaged but the hood and roof looked like a big blue golf ball with roof racks. A retiree at a trailer park owned it and it only had about 15,000 miles on it. That thing ran great. Got a lot of looks from people but I didn't care. Ended up selling it for $500 to somebody so I could buy something faster but nowhere near as reliable. 2 Quote

A friend had his BMW parked in his driveway. His insurance company paid out over $7,000.00 for sheet metal and glass after his $1,000.00 deductible. Looks like a new car now, but still.....! Dawg Hair, SASS #29557 Posted April 29 Posted April 29 I remember seeing this kind of damage in Oklahoma City. Happens almost every year. One time one of our new radar techs drove a brand new car to attend a course at the academy in OKC and came back with it full of dents, but luckily all his glass was ok. Quote

irish ike, SASS #43615 Posted May 8 Posted May 8 Texas on its path to provide more green enery built some huge solar panel sites. Hail storm with wind basically destroyed a site. Causing local folk to be without power! Quote
